Through the Carbon Label Campaign Program
In collaboration with the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), Vekin (Thailand) Co., Ltd., owner of the Cero Carbon Wallet Platform Application, Cloudsec Asia Co., Ltd., as well as suppliers and the Thailand Carbon Neutral Network (TCNN), the initiative aims to raise awareness and promote the use of products that have been registered with the carbon label for consumer goods. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, who presided over the opening ceremony at Quartier Avenue and Gourmet Market, The EmQuartier.
For products registered with the carbon label, there are two types:1. Carbon Footprint Reduction Label (Climate Change Mitigation): This label certifies products that reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with established targets and have passed a carbon footprint assessment, achieving a reduction of at least 2% of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e).2. Carbon Footprint Reduction Label for Products: This label shows the total greenhouse gas emissions throughout the product lifecycle, from materials to disposal, expressed as carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). This will help consumers make informed purchasing decisions and encourage manufacturers to adopt environmentally-friendly production technologies.
